For many of the people in the northern hemisphere this is the time of the year when we gather to give thanks, and whether we’re honoring the generosity of the Native Americans, celebrating our own harvest, counting our blessings, or happily stocking our home for the gathering winter, we’re performing a sacred shape-shifting act, we’re expanding our life by opening our hearts to a larger embrace of the life force, our Source Self.

Gratitude and appreciation are practices which expand us beyond our own ego boundaries and allow us to bring a more generous experience of All That Is into our energy field. We are transformed by this expansion becoming more closely aligned, and in resonance with, all for which we are thankful. In this way our experience becomes more greatly full and this fullness of receiving life is the true feast which is being mirrored on our laden tables.

On any day of the year, whatever we embrace with moans of appreciation, with attentive savoring, with lingering drink-it-in appreciation is amplified, expanded in our life. These practices of “yummm!” and “thank you, thank you, thank you!” open the doors to all that we desire, for they tune us to the resonance of receiving.

Do you desire peace on earth? Savor each and every moment of sweet peace you encounter. Do you desire joy or abundance? Every small joy or experience of enoughness brings an opportunity for expanding these experiences in our life if we take them into our hearts and rejoice.

More love, more ways, in December

Kissing School, all our other transformational classes, and Lotus Holistic Therapies will begin to take on a new unified structure and will have a new umbrella name: Lotus Practices: tools for blossoming passionately with your feet on the ground.

Our focus is on creating a life that we love so there will be classes for cultivating the energy of love in all of us; body, bio-fields, mind, heart and spirit, self, other and world. To create a passionate, loving life we have to be friends with the energy of passion, the experience of dynamic love, and the impact that this inspirited energy has on our life. Most certainly we’ll have to increase our bliss tolerance, oh my!
